Aleksandra Kurzak, young and talented Polish soprano and baritone Mariusz Kwiecień, famous for its great musicality and a graduate of the Metropolitan Opera's Lindeman Young Artist Development, on 24th-26th March and 23rd-27th June 2009 at the Witold Lutosławski Polish Radio Concert Studio in Warsaw recorded a set of Chopin Songs for the Fryderyk Chopin Institute for the first time. Both artists are closely connected with the Metropolitan Opera in New York and London's Covent Garden. We will hear Nelson Goerner performing - a great figure among contemporary pianists, an artist known for his great performances of the works of romantic composers, especially Chopin’s.
