‘Chopin in Paris: The 1830s’ is the sixth in a series of conference publications. It contains extended articles from the Sixth International Academic Conference organized by the Institute in December 2006. Articles cover wild range of different subjects connected with Chopin's life and output from the 1830s. The book is divided into six sections, each dedicated to a different subject, among which: relations between Chopin and his pupils, analytical perspective on the music of Chopin and aesthetics and social history of the 1830s. The texts are available in English or French.
