The Symphony No. 40 in G minor K. 550 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (in the transcription by Johann Nepomuk Hummel for chamber ensemble) as well as the 1st string quartet in F major Op. 20 by Ignacy Feliks Dobrzyński were recorded in March 2018, in the Witold Lutosławski Concert Studio of Polish Radio. Dobrzyński’s quintet, composed in a form of a classical sonata cycle, transforms the melody of Dąbrowski’s Mazurka in one of the movements.
